Excellent dinner. The Mac and cheese was phenomenal. My husband had the brisket which he enjoyed. They really classed this place up.
Very classy place with "bathing room", two TVs, and a gas fireplace. You can also buy drinks downstairs at the tavern and bring them up. Kind of a weird setup with no lobby but it makes it feel like a bed and breakfast.
We stayed in the Governor Austin room June 2017, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was wonderful, the room was incredible, everything was immaculate, and the bed itself was easily the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. What a hidden gem!
A unique, comfortable, and luxurious experience! There are five rooms located above the 3rd Street Tavern. You check in at the restaurant and are shown upstairs to your room. We stayed in the Governor Johnson room. The room was really big with a lot of character. The bed was comfortable, the room was spotless and had all the amenities you could want. Lots of unique little touches made it a memorable stay. The room comes with vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. It's a $13 credit per person which is plenty for a delicious start to your day. The breakfast flat bread is phenomenal. Overall, we can't wait to go back. It's the type of place that spoils you without breaking the bank.
